Looking for Retro Attire
Friday, September 23, 2005Our company is having it’s biggest and grandest party ever next week, September 30, 2005 (Friday) at the Manila Polo Club. I am sure it’s going to be a bash!
Problem though, I still do not have a costume for our theme. Help you guys! What can you suggest? Our theme is retro, any casual clothing from the 20s to the 80s. Your urgent comments are most welcome. =)

Hi Chompy! 60's, 70's or 80's would be easy. 60's is the flower child look (think Dharma of Greg or the charmed ep where they saw their young grandmother). Don't forget the necklaces.
If you want 70's swing was in so spaghetti strap dresses with full skirts (think Saturday Night Fever) or think Charlie's Angel, the Series (they had lots of outfits!!!) or short shorts and tight halter tops with heels (Olivia Newton John in her concerts or Donna Summers just to name a few) Don't forget the hair.
80's…think Madonna or Menudo or hey! you were already around at this point
Just look up the photoalbums of those graduates up to batch 95 in high school. They should have pics! Simple outfits would be sleeveless plain tops with maong skirt and heels matching your top. Have a wide sash headband and chunky earrings plus the thick make up and Voila!
