Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal as Reviewed by Chompy
Monday, February 27, 2006Teddy and I finally watched Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal yesterday 3pm at Huseng Batute, CCP. I suggest that you read Teddy’s Review of Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah (http://beerkada.i.ph/blogs/beerkada/?item=my-review-of-zsa-zsa-zaturnnah) first before proceeding to read mine.
Teddy was quite right! I really had a great time with Teddy watching Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal. The not so impressive first impression I got was well compensated for by the extraordinary performance of the musical Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah which got me laughing all through out and clapping to a very hip beat at the end.

Mikrokosmos & the Chunky Far Flung Gallery
Sunday, February 5, 2006The three of us has not been to Marikina Shoe Expo, but we were told that it is just behind Shopwise and Rustan’s. After walking for several minutes, we finally saw a big sign of "Marikina Shoe Expo". It wasn’t what I expected (I actually don’t know what to expect. LOL) It was located in a not so busy area of Cubao and looks very quiet.
Marikina Shoe Expo looks like the side-by-side shoe stores that can be found in Marikina (that explains a lot! LOL). Mikrokosmos is sold at a quaint and cozy store named the Chunky Far Flung Gallery (given the location, it was really far flung!). There were a lot of interesting things at the shop, and the second floor has a gallery where patrons can take coffee and pastries.
There you go, for Php 150, get your copy of Mikrokosmos at the Chunky Far Flung Gallery while supplies last!
Also, Divine Comedy creator Steven Pabalinas joined us at the Artistsden weekly meeting last January 27, 2005. I was able to buy a copy of Divine Comedy for Php 100. Get yours now!

Friends, Memories, Reunions at California Pizza Kitchen
Friday, February 3, 2006On the first day of classes on my first year of High School in a new school, I made friends with the nicest and prettiest girls I have met. We called ourselves JCEEMD, after the initials of our names.
Last January 28, we celebrated the birthday of my friend Jj, one of the heart throbs (then and now) in our High School. Mima met with me at our house and together we went to Filinvest 2 were we met Jj, and some of our High School guy friends together with Jj’s cousins and college friends.
That’s when I found out that my bestfriend Dom is going back to Saudi with her parents on Sunday. Since Ces and Elaine wasn’t able to make it to Jj’s birthday party, we decided to meet again on February 1, Wednesday.
We decided to eat dinner at California Pizza Kitchen - CPK (Teddy was there too, hee hee - he got our King Kong shirts and caps from Gigi that night and joined us at CPK afterwards) and shared a pizza and several pastas. Mima wasn’t able to make it due to work
We catched up on each other’s news and gossipped about high school classmates. We parted ways, looking forward to the next time we meet again. Hope you’re safe in Saudi now Dom, and hope you could join us next time Mima.
Mwah!
Sunday Afternoon at the CCP
Thursday, February 2, 2006After a culture-filled afternoon, we had an early dinner at Rai Rai Ken. Teddy ate Canton Udon and I had 3-Kinds Bento (actually, we shared it between the two of us) and ordered additional California Maki. We were so full! I think we could have made do with the 3 Kinds Bento, maki and additional rice. hehehe..
Next stop, Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah (graphic novel by Arnold Arre) at Tanghalang Husteng Batute (CCP). Teddy and I are planning to watch the 3pm show on February 18. Hope to see you guys there too!
