Mikrokosmos & the Chunky Far Flung Gallery

After playing badminton with Teddy early Saturday afternoon, we met up with Ariel to go to Marikina Shoe Expo in our quest for Joemike Tejido’s Mikrokosmos (http://www.mikrokosmos.tk).

The three of us has not been to Marikina Shoe Expo, but we were told that it is just behind Shopwise and Rustan’s. After walking for several minutes, we finally saw a big sign of "Marikina Shoe Expo". It wasn’t what I expected (I actually don’t know what to expect. LOL) It was located in a not so busy area of Cubao and looks very quiet.

Marikina Shoe Expo looks like the side-by-side shoe stores that can be found in Marikina (that explains a lot! LOL). Mikrokosmos is sold at a quaint and cozy store named the Chunky Far Flung Gallery (given the location, it was really far flung!). There were a lot of interesting things at the shop, and the second floor has a gallery where patrons can take coffee and pastries.

There you go, for Php 150, get your copy of Mikrokosmos at the Chunky Far Flung Gallery while supplies last!

Also, Divine Comedy creator Steven Pabalinas joined us at the Artistsden weekly meeting last January 27, 2005. I was able to buy a copy of Divine Comedy for Php 100. Get yours now! :)
